Since launching our startup in May 2021, our mission has always been to help save the planet and be kind to other human beings who are less fortunate than us. We are grateful to be in this position after such a tough period (1.5 years to be exact) of struggling with COVID-19, which is why we are a proud supporter of The Water Project by donating £1 of our proceeds for every wash you book with us. The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing reliable water projects to communities in sub-Saharan Africa who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation. Since 2006, they have been helping communities gain access to clean, safe water by providing training, expertise and financial support for water project construction through their staff and implementing partners.

The Water Project’s 2023 average project cost (for first-year implementation costs) / the average number of people served per project / 365 days a year is $0.24. When this is converted based on the current exchange rates to Pounds, it’s roughly ~£0.20 for the average cost for one day of clean water for one person. Therefore, £1 provides five days of clean water to someone in need.
